Terms & Conditions

Plain-language terms for using Hardware Tester. By using the site you agree to them.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Use of the tools

Hardware Tester provides free, browser-based diagnostic tools for personal and professional use. You may use them for any lawful purpose. The tools are provided as general aids, not certified measurement instruments.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Test results depend on your browser, operating system, drivers and hardware and may not be exhaustive, for example, a key or device handled entirely by your operating system may not be visible to a browser-based test. We do not guarantee that the tools are error-free or that a passing result means a device is fault-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hardware Tester and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, including decisions made on the basis of test results (such as warranty claims or purchases).

Third-party content

The site may display advertising or use third-party services (such as analytics and ad networks). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Use the Contact Us page.
